To Ping or Not to Ping, That is Not the Question
While there are those that say pinging is a thing of the past, there are those that think it is alive and well and of great value to the online marketing of websites or blogs. While we are not going to jump into that debate now, I just found out that PingGoat is 'officially' dead and thought I would reach out to the pinging community with a list of additional pinging resources for their enjoyment:

- Pingler - Pings up to 92 different web services.
- Autopinger - Pings up to 44 different web services.
- PingMyBlog - Pings 68 different web services.

Can anyone tell me if I need to use one of these services each time I publish a new post on my wordpress blog?
I've read things that suggest that wordpress automatically pings. Is that true?
